The role

As a Paid Media Executive, you will play a pivotal role in the planning, execution, and optimisation of digital advertising campaigns across multiple platforms. You’ll be responsible for building and launching paid media campaigns, conducting keyword research, and implementing tracking to ensure accurate performance measurement. Your day-to-day will involve crafting compelling ad copy, applying audience targeting strategies, and optimising landing pages to drive conversions.

You’ll analyse campaign data to generate actionable insights, adjust bids to maximise ROI, and test various ad formats including text, display, and video. Troubleshooting and staying informed on industry trends will be key to maintaining campaign effectiveness.

Working closely with the Paid Media Manager and cross-functional teams, you’ll support the delivery of strategic advertising initiatives aligned with client objectives. Collaboration with campaigns, creative and planning teams will ensure assets and messaging are audience-focused and performance-driven.

What we need from you


The Day to Day

Building, launching, and optimising paid media campaigns.

Undertaking keyword research and monitoring in-campaign performance.

Adding all relevant ad extensions to campaigns.

Ensuring campaigns are appropriately measured through conversion tracking, UTMs, etc

Building an understanding of client(s) demographic profiles and applying audience targeting to campaign planning, development, and optimisation.

Creating compelling ad copy and optimising landing pages to improve conversion rates.

Analysing campaign performance data and generating clear reports with actionable recommendations for optimisation.

Monitoring and adjusting bids to maximise performance and stay within budget constraints.

Creating and testing different ad formats, including text, display, and video ads, to determine the most effective approach.

Troubleshooting any issues that arise and implementing solutions promptly to maintain campaign performance.

Staying on top of industry trends and platform updates to inform campaign strategy.

Key Responsibilities

End to end responsibility for paid advertising campaigns in line with the agreed strategies and briefs.

Supporting the Paid Media Manager with executing PPC campaigns across multiple platforms and ensuring optimised performance.

Supporting the wider Insights, Strategy and Planning Team with the direction of paid advertising strategies based on client objectives and audience insights.

Collaborating with the Campaigns and Creative teams to ensure paid media assets, copy, and targeting are fit for purpose and audience focused.

Developing your specialism under the guidance of your line manager and via PDP and business objective setting process.

Maintaining up to date and relevant understanding of digital marketing.

Collaborating across multi-disciplines, to promote a culture of shared knowledge and understanding.

Collaborating effectively to work through a project timeline – ensuring time is managed on projects.

Responsibility for keeping track of own project hours and maximising working capacity.


Core Skills

End to end running of paid digital media campaigns (PPC and social) across major platforms, including Google Ads, Bing Ads, LinkedIn, Meta Ads, and TikTok. This includes briefing, scoping, budgeting, building, launching, management, reporting, optimising and evaluating.

Demonstrable analytical skills with the ability to interpret data and draw actionable insights.

Familiarity with web analytics tools such as Google Analytics (GA4 preferred).

Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to present findings and recommendations clearly.

Good copywriting skills with an ability to create engaging and effective ad copy.

Strong organisational skills with the ability to manage multiple campaigns and meet deadlines.
