Cowshed Helps to Deliver Joy with Operation Christmas Child

At Cowshed we like to do good things for good people, so this Christmas we are supporting The Samaritan’s Purse Operation Christmas Child and playing our part in bringing a little bit of joy to disadvantaged children around the world.

Samaritans Purse is an international relief organisation, working amongst communities in Africa, Eastern Europe and Central Asia.  They delivered their first shoebox for Operation Christmas Child in Romania 25 years ago. Now, with the help of hundreds of volunteers and workers, they send boxes to children in countries including Liberia, Uganda, Swaziland and those in refugee camps, forced to leave their homes as a result of war and violence.

The whole team at Cowshed are very proud to join thousands of others in a collective and truly life changing effort, to give children a happy Christmas. We have filled our boxes with a whole array of gifts which we are sure will bring a smile to the faces of girls and boys across the world – from footballs, yo-yo’s and a racing car to vital day-to-day necessities like toiletries and school equipment.

Just look at the happy faces and you’ll see why we decided to support such a great cause: https://www.facebook.com/occuk/?fref=ts

Merry Christmas from all of us.
